NATSIEHC26 was held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Naarm (Melbourne) on 11–13 May 2026, under the theme Seeing Our Way: Innovation, Excellence and Healing. The conference marked the 10th anniversary of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health Conferences.
NATSIEHC26 celebrated Australia's formal WHO validation for eliminating trachoma as a public health problem — a milestone decades in the making, achieved through sustained Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community leadership, clinical excellence and coordinated national action.
