The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health Conference 2026 (NATSIEHC26) invites abstract submissions under the theme, “SEEING OUR WAY: Innovation, Excellence and Healing.”
This theme celebrates the strength, resilience, and leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in shaping the future of eye health and vision care. Seeing Our Way reflects the growing evolution of self-determination and the ability to view the world through an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lens — blending innovation, healing, and excellence to drive lasting impact.
NATSIEHC26 will create a space to share knowledge, highlight excellence, and explore forward-thinking solutions that combine traditional knowledge with contemporary practice, ensuring the future of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health is strong, bright, and community-led.

We welcome abstracts from across the eye health and vision care sector that align with the theme “Seeing Our Way: Innovation, Excellence and Healing.”
Submissions may include programs, projects, research, community stories, or collaborations that celebrate leadership, promote culturally safe practice, and drive innovation.
Your submission should aim to inspire and equip future leaders with the skills and knowledge to continue strengthening Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health.
