The Check Today, See Tomorrow campaign and resources were developed in response to clearly identified gaps, community need and sector priorities in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health, as highlighted through the sector endorsed Roadmap to Close the Gap for Vision and during the period in which Strong Eyes, Strong Communities and the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Plan 2021–2031 were guiding national policy and practice.
